General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

At base.energy we develop, sell and rent plug-in solar systems to private and commercial users (you).

Conclusion of contract

Unless otherwise agreed, we take orders through our web shop and request payment in advance. After checking the data, we confirm the order. We may reject the order without giving reasons. In this case, the full purchase price for services that have not yet been delivered will be refunded. Our offer is only valid in the European Union.

Prices

All prices in our webshop include Austrian Value Added Tax (VAT). Shipping costs can be displayed in the webshop during the ordering process or can be requested from us.

Payment and ownership

We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card or PayPal. Payments are due in advance. We only process the order after you have fulfilled the agreed payments. In the event of late payment, we may charge an interest of 4% annually. The goods remain our property until full payment.

Cancellation

You can withdraw from the purchase without a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. We accept the withdrawal from the contract in writing. This period begins with the delivery of the goods. After withdrawing from the contract, you must return all goods immediately. You must return the goods in the same condition in which you received them. You pay the costs for the return shipment yourself. After the goods have arrived we pay your money back immediately.

Complaint and warranty

We accept complaints in writing. The manufacturer is generally liable for its guarantees. We can fulfill complaints in different ways:

• Repair or subsequent delivery
• exchange
• Price reduction
• Cancellation of the contract

Liability

The responsibility for the goods is transferred to you upon delivery. If you damage goods from us, you have to pay us for the repair. We accept no liability for damages, even in the event of slight negligence.

Shipping

If the goods are not accepted by you and we are supposed to deliver them again, you have to pay the delivery costs again. The agreed delivery period begins with the transmission of the order confirmation.

Rentals

We require a deposit for renting equipment. After we get our devices back, we pay back the rent immediately. You pay for the return of rented equipment. You must return the devices to us in the condition in which you received them from us. Rented equipment must be returned at the agreed time. For delays, we may charge additional rental fees and a handling fee of € 50.00.

Miscellaneous

If individual parts of these terms and conditions are ineffective or cannot be implemented, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
